The Parmenide Cheese Grater by Alejandro Ruiz for Alessi integrates a stainless steel grater with a black thermoplastic container for storing freshly grated cheese. Its compact, minimal design makes it an accessible example of everyday objects reimagined with clarity and purpose.

With its black, red, or clear housings, the Parmenide provides function and visibility, allowing cheese to be grated, stored, and served in one piece. A practical tool, it reflects Alessi’s ongoing focus on thoughtful, modern kitchen design.
